MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD AT THE BEONNA ON MONDAY 24th NOVEMBER 2025 at 7.00 pm.

1 APOLOGIES were received from Parish Councillor R Bell and Boston Borough Councillor P Bedford. Lincolnshire County Councillor A Arundell had stated he would attend but failed to do so.
2 MINUTES
The minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on the 20th October 2025 having been previously circulated were approved and signed by the Chairman.
3 NO MATTERS ARISING
4 NO DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
5 PLANNING
5.1 B/25/0314 - No decision had yet been received regarding the conversion of garage to self-contained accommodation including alterations and extension (works already started) at Bay Hall, Hall Lane.
5.2 B/25/0244 - The application for a Statutory Consultation notice under section 42 of the Planning Act 2008 and the Infrastructure Planning Regulations 2009 to Boston Borough Council for project EM020036 for the proposed Grimsby to Walpole Project had been received. Left with Councillor Fenwick.
6 PARISH MATTERS
6.1 Highways - It was noted that the broken chevron on the West End bend had now been repaired.
Several potholes were reported, in particular the poor condition of West End Road. These would be reported on Fix My Street and Councillor Broughton stated he would also report it.
Lincolnshire and sent in notification that owing to Ducting for Telecoms, part of Davids Lane would be restricted between 5th January 2026 and 18th January 2026.
6.21 Playing Field - Councillor Pinner reported that he had now moved the dog waste bin, in accordance with Boston Borough Council.
6.22 Play Equipment Fencing - Councillor Broughton stated he would try and find out if and when the next GRASSroots, funding would be available, bearing in mind we had a quote in readiness.
6.22 Playing Field Usage - It was noted that the British School of Sports were applying for funding from FA Lincolnshire, and in consequence Councillor Pinner was drawing up an Agreement for Access Form, when details of their insurance was forthcoming.
6.3 Annual Playground Inspection - The date for the inspection was still to be received.
7 CORRESPONDENCE
7.1 Several emails including those from Boston Borough Council, Lincolnshire County Council and LALC, had been forwarded to all councillors.
7.2 The November edition of the Clerks and Councils Direct was handed to the Chairman.
8 FINANCE
8.1 The clerk presented the up-to-date accounts. It was noted that a further account had been paid to Milday Properties for moles in the churchyard.
8.3 The following payments were authorised accordingly.

9 NEXT MEETING
9.1 The next meeting/meal was arranged for 8th December 2025, at The Bricklayers, commencing at 7.00 pm.
9.2 Provisional dates for 2026 were handed out.
9.3 The first meeting of 2026 would be held at the Beonna on Monday, 19th January 2026 at 7.00 pm.
10 FURTHER BUSINESS
Concern had been raised regarding speeding through the village. The possibility of speed cameras, or solar powered signs would be investigated.
There being no further business the Chairman thanked those in attendance and closed the meeting at 7.45 pm.
